Q: What is the Jeep® Wave program?

Jeep Wave is a new program designed to provide select Jeep® Brand vehicle owners with dedicated 24/7 exclusive owner support and a special package of special benefits to enhance their ownership experience and thank them for their patronage to the Jeep Brand. 

What benefits do Jeep® Wave members receive?

Jeep Wave membership benefits include exclusive owner support, maintenance services, VIP treatment at special events across the country, trip interruption protection, first-day rental coverage, access to an exclusive Savings Network that provides up to $500 in annual savings and a unique website experience. Additional details regarding these benefits can be found later in this document. 

Q: Who is eligible for Jeep® Wave?

Jeep Wave is included in the purchase of select MY2016, MY2017 and MY2018 Jeep® Brand models (see below), effective program launch. Additionally, owners of MY2015 and newer vehicles not listed below have the opportunity to enroll for an annual fee and and experience the benefits that the Jeep Wave program has to offer.

Q: Are Non-Jeep® Brand Vehicles Eligible

A: No. Only Jeep Brand vehicles are eligible. 

Q: How do owners buy in to the Jeep® Wave program?

A: Owners of MY2015 and newer Jeep® Brand vehicles not already enrolled in the Jeep Wave program can do so via the Jeep Wave page in the Care section of the Official Mopar® Owner site. Here, a program overview and the ability to purchase and activate a Jeep Wave membership are available. 

Q: When does membership in the Jeep® Wave program begin?

A: Membership for Jeep Wave included as part of vehicle purchase begins on the vehicle's in-service date. For those who purchase Jeep Wave, membership starts on the date of membership purchase. 

Q: When can vehicle owners start accessing the web site and using their Jeep® Wave membership?

A: It may take up to 48 hours for an owner's membership in Jeep Wave to be fully processed and accessible on the site. If a vehicle is purchased on day one, an owner should be able to access the site and accept the Terms and Conditions by day three. 

Q: How do owners enroll?

A: To fully activate their Jeep® Wave membership and receive full program benefits, owners must have or create an active Jeep® Vehicle Owner Account or an active Mopar® Owner Account and accept the Jeep Wave terms and conditions. Upon doing so, either after vehicle purchase or as part of the membership purchase process, Jeep Wave members will have full access to savings/offers, receive pertinent communications and be able check their benefit status 24/7.

Q: Do members receive a membership card?

A: Yes, a permanent membership card will be mailed to all members within 4-6 weeks of enrollment. For new vehicle purchases, a temporary card will be issued as part of their Vehicle Welcome kit. 

Q: Can members have more than one Jeep® Wave membership?

A: Yes. Members can have an unlimited number of memberships so long as they have qualifying vehicles. Each membership is linked to a specific Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). 

Q: How do owners add other vehicles to the Jeep® Wave program?

A: Members can purchase a Jeep Wave program membership for any MY15 or newer Jeep®Brand vehicles not already enrolled. Owners can go to the Jeep Wave page in the Care section of the Official Mopar® Owner site for more information on this option. Each membership is linked to a specific VIN. 

Q: How do owners know when their Jeep® Wave membership expires?

A: All members will receive a Welcome Kit which will clearly show their membership start and expiration date. Members will also know their program expiration date from their membership card, their Jeep Wave member page and the app. 

Q: What happens when a membership expires?

A: Owners who have opted in for communication will receive emails and/or direct mail pieces letting them know the date their Jeep® Wave program membership expires and the process to extend/renew their membership. Benefits expire at the time the membership ends (including any unused benefits, which are not available after the membership expiration date). 

Q: Can owners renew their membership?

A: Yes. Owners will be able to renew their Jeep® Wave program membership using the enrollment function on the site or app. Owners who are opted in to receive Jeep Wave communications will be given advance notice of their membership expiration date and instructions on renewal. 

Q: What happens to the Jeep® Wave membership if the vehicle is sold?

A: Jeep Wave is transferable with the vehicle, and any remaining unused benefits transfer to the new owner when a vehicle is sold. For example, if the membership has one oil change/tire rotation remaining and the vehicle is sold, the new owner receives a membership good for one oil change and tire rotation. 

Q: Can a member get a refund on the program if he/she sells his Jeep® Brand vehicle or it is totaled in an accident?

A: Members who purchase a Jeep® Wave membership are entitled to a full refund within 60 days of purchase, so long as none of the benefits have been utilized. Members seeking a refund should call the dedicated Jeep Wave member line at 1-844-533-7928 (1-844-JEEP WAVE) for further information. After 60 days, no refund is available. Owners who received Jeep Wave automatically as part of vehicle purchase are not entitled to a refund. 

Q: What is Mopar® Vehicle Protection® (MVP)?

A: As part of the Jeep® Wave program, members receive a special Mopar Vehicle Protection (MVP) plan for their Jeep® Brand vehicle. MVP is genuine factory-backed extended coverage that includes maintenance services, trip interruption, and rental allowance associated with the membership. Owners will have access to their vehicle's MVP plan as part of Jeep Wave. 

Q: How does the maintenance services work?

A: Each 2-year membership provides four oil changes and four tire rotations (two of each per year), and 1-year memberships provide two oil changes and two tire rotations. Jeep® Wave members can go to any U.S. authorized FCA US LLC dealer to redeem these services. 

Q: What does trip interruption protection cover?

A: The Plan will reimburse up to $1,000/event for lodging, meals and emergency transportation such as taxi, bus or airline for the member and his family if (1) his vehicle is inoperable due to a failure covered under this Plan or under the factory warranty and (2) you are more than 100 miles from the address of record. Lodging, meals and emergency transportation receipts must accompany a copy of repair bill and must be mailed to Vehicle Protection, P.O. Box 2700, Troy, Michigan 48007-2700. There is no maximum number of events that can be covered. 

Q: What does first day rental allowance cover?

A: First Day Rental Allowance provides $35.00 car rental allowance if the vehicle is to be serviced for any same day mechanical repair or maintenance service (excluding bodywork). Vehicles kept overnight are not eligible for First Day Rental. Please note: Excludes rental for bodywork to the exterior sheet metal/composite panel or frame collision repairs.

The rental vehicle must be obtained from a dealer. If a dealer does not have rental vehicles available, you may obtain one from a licensed rental agency. Rental coverage is subject to state and local laws and policies imposed by the rental agency. Rental charges in excess of the amount allowed by the plan are the member's responsibility. The plan is not responsible for any refusal of a rental agency to rent a vehicle to you. 

Q: How does the Jeep® Wave savings network work?

A: The Savings Network is an exclusive benefit featuring offers curated especially for Jeep Wave members from about 150 premium retailers. Members can use their $500 in annual savings to purchase selected products typically at 20% - 40% off best available pricing. For example, an item that retails for $100 and is available for $75 exclusively to Jeep Wave members would represent $25 in savings that would be deducted from the owner's $500 savings bank.

Q: How can members access the savings network?

A: Once members have accepted the terms and conditions of the Jeep® Wave program, they can access this feature by clicking the "Shop Now" button under the Savings Network section of their Jeep Wave member page. 

Q: Can you tell me more about Jeep® Wave dedicated member line?

A: Members of the Jeep Wave program will have 24/7 access to a set of dedicated representatives who will extend elite customer service and handle any inquiries to Jeep Wave members who call 1-844-533-7928 (1-844-JEEP WAVE). 

Q: Will any additional service offers be available to owners?

A: Through the Jeep® Wave site, owners can view and select service offers offered by dealers of their choice. 

Q: How do owners register their vehicle on the official Jeep® Vehicle or Mopar® owner site?

A: If the user already has an Official Mopar Owner Site account, they may register their vehicle by simply logging in from the homepage. If an owner does NOT have an account, they can create an account and register their vehicle by completing the following steps:

  1. Visit www.mopar.com.
  2. Select the Sign In/Register link at the top of the page.
  3. Complete registration by clicking the link in the confirmation email that will be sent.
  4. Create a unique password.
  5. Add a first and last name to the account.
  6. Select the Account Information Tab on the "Your Account" page.
  7. Add the VIN and address (to enable the system to pair the user's vehicle with the account)
  8. Confirm that the correct vehicle has appeared on the user account's dashboard

Q: What if the user cannot view their Jeep® Wave member account page?

A: If they cannot view the Jeep Wave link within the Care Menu, the user should first make sure they are logged in at mopar.com/jeep. If the user has just enrolled and logged in, and cannot access their full Jeep Wave member account page, they should try again after 48 hours to allow for system processing. If the owner's full member account page is still not accessible, the user should contact Jeep Wave support at 1-844-533-7928 (1-844-JEEP WAVE). 

Q: What if an owner is trying to purchase a Jeep® Wave membership but cannot?

A: First, the user must make sure they have an Official Mopar® Owner account and their Jeep®Brand vehicle has been added. If trying to purchase a Jeep Wave membership for a vehicle but unable to do so, owners should confirm that their vehicle is eligible for buy-in. Currently, only model year 2015 Jeep Brand vehicles or later are eligible. Please refer to the FAQ titled 'How do owners register their vehicle in the Official Jeep Brand Vehicle or Mopar Owner Site?' for additional details. If still having difficulties after completing these steps, please contact Jeep Wave support at 1-844-533-7928 (1-844-JEEP WAVE). 

Q: Where should owners go for program support?

A: If owners cannot find what they are looking for here, they owners are encouraged to call their dedicated direct support agent at any time (24/7) at 1-844-533-7928 (1-844-JEEP WAVE). 

Q: Is there a mobile app for members?

A: Yes. Jeep® Wave program information and benefits will be accessible through the current suite of owner apps available to Jeep® Brand vehicle owners (Mopar Owners Companion, Jeep®Brand Vehicle Info). These apps are available through Google Play (Android) and iTunes (Apple).
